LEATHER CARE
Chemicals will weaken the leather over time. Be patient. Its ruggedness will grow in character with you.
Don't be afraid of a scuff. Lick your finger. Rub it in. The oils from your skin shape the patina's look over time. So go ahead. Handle it!
Avoid leaving leather for extended periods of time in direct sunlight or extreme heat
Natural Leather Description:
NATURAL, AGE-OLD PROCESS
Vegetable-tanned leather is created using natural tannins and plant-based extracts. It is environmentally-friendly and more time-consuming than other, modern tanning methods. The result is a light-colored, unadulterated hide.
This is where you come in.
GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME
For each unique story, this leather provides the blank slate to begin. Natural leather starts out in an antique white color with subtle pink tones, but this is just the beginning. Over time the leather will develop a rich, golden patina that's unique to you.

This book is really beautiful. I started doing my scratch offs and they are really easy to do and control with the little pick provided. I see what people mean regarding the organization of it, but I don't mind. I just plan on jotting down dates, and some notable memories from each trip- so breaking it up with journaling pages is perfect for me. The leather is beautiful and shipping was fast! I'm considering buying others as gifts.

I was very excited for this journal, but I am disappointed with the quality of the book binding. The leather is beautiful and the paper feels nice, but the pages are crooked and do not line up on the inside. They were sewn in very unevenly, so some stick stick and can’t really be flipped through (it just flips through the pages that are hanging out the most). The inside cover (made from thin paper) hangs way over the pages and it doesn’t cover them fully in the back. And, about half of the pages hang out of the bottom of the leather cover. It feels like it was just thrown together. I am just disappointed for a $90 journal. FYI: you need to pay an $8 a “restocking fee” to make returns, but the shop is very communicative and kind.
